Prophet 21 DynaChange Extensibility Suite

DynaChange Screen Designer allows you to personalize the user interface in the Prophet 21 application. Screen Designer lets you make changes to individual fields on tabs within Prophet 21. It also allows you to edit both the fields and their labels in a number of ways, including:

• Moving fields
• Resizing fields
• Renaming fields
• Making certain fields invisible
• Making certain fields required Protecting fields
• Changing field tab order
• Adding fields
• Adding user-defined fields

DynaChange Menu Designer allows you to alter the appearance and content of Prophet 21 menus. You can change menu text to match the changes you make to the screens or remove options entirely. Customize menus to the specific needs of various users throughout your company—trimming away unneeded options and making essential choices stand out more. This may also be used as a security feature, as you can remove options entirely from the available menus—denying certain employees or groups access to specific windows or even entire modules.

Use the DynaChange Tab Designer to change the font type, font color, font size, name, and security requirements for tabs within a window. The DynaChange Tab Designer also allows you to edit tabs in the system. You can hide tabs, change names, change fonts, and so on. You can then save the changes in an alternate configuration and assign roles to that configuration.

DynaChange Popup Designer allows you to customize the search windows in Prophet 21—including the size of the page, the size of each column, how many characters the user has to enter before a search initiates, which fields display in search results sets, and which fields you can search.

DynaChange Portals lets you design the specific, real-time views of your data that are most relevant to each employee. This tool allows you to add to the portal views currently available in your Prophet 21 system by designing new views that assist your employees in their day-to-day activities. These portals—designed by you—can be assigned to users and inserted into your Prophet 21 solution or displayed in a browser. This allows users to take their portals anywhere—bringing key personalized data from Prophet 21 to a mobile device or tablet of choice at any time.

Ribbon Metrics provide the opportunity for you to define what data really matters and prominently display it where it’s needed, when it’s needed—whether displaying data obscured in back tabs of Prophet 21 data. Information displayed on the metrics panel of the ribbon bar could include:

• Information from any of the tabs on the current window
• Computed fields using data from the database
• Images for products or images from a URL
• Integrated data from other systems using business rules

DynaChange Navigator provides the ability to create your own drill-downs or edit existing drill-downs in your Prophet 21 system. Users can create new drill-downs by defining a drill source and a drill target—allowing you to create new workflows in Prophet 21. Additionally, you can edit existing drill-downs to change the drill target or set up multiple options for the user—allowing the user to select which way the drill-down is displayed.
