Soaring Higher Together: Epicor FP&A Shines Through at Insights 2026

insights-fy26-5914

What a phenomenal week! Epicor Insights 2026 (US Leg) has officially wrapped up, bringing together thousands of customers, partners, and innovators from around the world. Whether you joined us to get hands-on with the product roadmap, connect with peers facing similar operational hurdles, or gain actionable strategies from industry leaders, we hope you left Nashville feeling connected and inspired.

While innovation was buzzing across the entire Gaylord Opryland footprint, there was one area that saw unprecedented momentum this year: Epicor FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis).

With a rapidly growing user base, our FP&A sessions and demo booths were packed around the clock. The energy was electric, driven by a vibrant community of finance professionals eager to share their success stories and collaborate on the future of financial intelligence.

From FP&A AI Assistant´s shared strategic AI approach with Prism to other user improvements and customer stories, here’s a look back at the major highlights, product breakthrough discussions, and what’s on the horizon for Epicor FP&A.

Insights 2026

From the Demo Booth: Real-Time Planning and Powerful Upgrades

Our hands-on labs and demo booths provided the perfect sandbox for teams to tackle complex forecasting challenges on the fly.

The 90-Day Forecast Challenge

One of the biggest crowd-pleasers in the demo booth was showing teams just how fast they can pivot from historical data to forward-looking strategy. Attendees watched (and participated in) creating a 90-day forecast right on the spot. By utilizing an intuitive input sheet tailored specifically for sales data, users saw firsthand how streamlined the process has become—eliminating spreadsheet chaos and delivering instant clarity.

Excitement Over FP&A AI Assistant

We’re introducing a new generative AI assistant within our Excel FP&A plug-in and several customers expressed their interest to start using this.  While still in our early adopter phase, this is an exciting step forward in our innovation story.

Feedback in Action

At Epicor, our roadmap is directly shaped by our user community. During a deep-dive session, Epicor solutions engineer, Bill Kane, brought forward an excellent usability suggestion that resonated heavily with the room: showing an explicit timestamp on all downloaded export reports, as well as displaying it natively on-screen within the live reporting view.

Our product teams love this practical feedback. Making data lineage and timing instantly visible on-screen ensures better governance and accessibility for users who need to know exactly how fresh their data is. Consider it noted—we are already looking at how to weave this into upcoming UX updates!

Unlocking Depth with Multi-Dimensional Analysis

Another massive talking point was operational visibility. Finance teams wanted to know exactly how to bridge the gap between high-level reports and granular transactional realities. The answer? Multi-dimensional Analysis. Attendees walked through how to seamlessly drill down directly to the journal level from a standard report using multidimensional analysis, giving controllers and CFOs the precision they need in seconds.

Customer-Led Inspiration: A True Community Forum

The real magic of Insights 2026 wasn’t just listening to keynotes—it was watching our customers talk to each other.

Our breakout rooms transformed into live, interactive Q&A hubs. Prospects and long-time users mingled in a "show and tell" environment, sharing actual screens, real-world workarounds, and major operational wins.

The success of these peer-led sessions caught the attention of many. Following a stellar presentation by Walker Forge on their organization's FP&A journey, other customers approached the FP&A team to ask if they could lead a similar customer-led session next year. This is exactly what Insights is about: real users empowering the rest of the community and yes, we are happy to give you sessions next year.

Looking Ahead: The Customer Summit & Panel

Based on the overwhelming interest gathered this week, we are thinking ahead to our next big community milestone.

What's Next: We are actively planning a dedicated FP&A Customer Summit & Panel for the 2027 Epicor Insights in Las Vegas. If you and your organization is interested, contact your account manager or any member of the Epicor FP&A Product Marketing team and we will keep you in the loop.

In addition, many of our existing customers came up with great extended education suggestions for next year such as a course for designing “Good BAQs” for FP&A.

“We have BAQ guidance, and Kinetic has a course for BAQ building,  but not sure if there are any references or focus on building them with an eye to FP&A.”

Our goal is to get more customer champions on board early to lead panels, share complex use cases, and guide peer-to-peer workshops. If you have an FP&A win or a unique implementation story you want to showcase, we want to hear from you soon!

Thank you to everyone who made Epicor Insights 2026 an unforgettable week for the financial reporting and planning community. Your feedback, enthusiasm, and collaborative spirit are what push our platform to soar higher. Let’s keep the conversation going—see you at the next event!
