Old fashioned hardware store relies on new technology from Epicor to grow business

500_vickery-logo-color.pngEpicor Software Corporation, a global provider of industry-specific enterprise software to promote business growth, announced today Vickery Hardware Company has launched the Epicor Eagle N Series® retail business management solution to further organizational growth and enhance its strong customer service.

Vickery Hardware is a family owned business that has served the needs of the Smyrna, Georgia community since 1950. The retailer recently converted its business model and became an Ace Hardware dealer—joining over 4,400 locally owned Ace Hardware stores nationwide—which has allowed it to continue to be innovative and unique in the ever-changing market.

Included in its business model transformation, Vickery Hardware also opted for a technology boost—deploying the Eagle N Series software to improve inventory management and more efficiently implement industry best practices.

  • “For the past 67 years, we successfully ran this business with paper, pencil, and a simple cash register; however, we now recognize that utilizing technology that fits our business model will help us become a stronger competitor in the market. We implemented Epicor Eagle N Series software as a way for us to better partner with Ace Hardware, get up-to-speed with technology, and enhance our business processes.”
