Steve Murphy

Mr. Steve Murphy joined the Epicor Board of Directors in October 2017 and served as Epicor's Chief Executive Officer from October 2017 to September 2026.

Before joining Epicor, Murphy served as president of OpenText, where he led customer-facing functions including sales, marketing, partnerships and alliances, technical services, customer support, professional services, sales operations, and cloud services. During his tenure, he helped complete and integrate four major acquisitions. 

Earlier, Murphy held sales and operations leadership roles at Oracle, Sun Microsystems, and Manugistics. He also led global logistics and supply chain strategy and major enterprise resource planning implementations at Accenture and Procter & Gamble. 

He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Davis and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
