Epicor Studio Services' Taylor, Michigan photography studio is fully equipped for large, high-volume still and 360 product photography and image production projects. Shipping to our studio is easy – deliver your boxes and pallets to our studio. When they arrive, we check them in to your project. You have access to our Image Production Management portal to monitor your project, products, and images.

We setup the details of your project on our online project portal. These details include your product list with numbers and UPCs; product categories and brands; image views required per product, brand, or category; data that you need collected during photography (weights, measures, other data); and users that need access to the project. You can monitor your project online, 24/7.

During the setup phase, we define the image types needed (still or 360), the images views required (i.e. top, left, right, close-up), and other image specifics (i.e. color correction, tones, brightness, shadows). When the photographer enters / scans the product number into our Photography Workflow software, they know exactly which image views to capture and the special requirements for each product and image view.

When the images are captured at the photography studio they are immediately uploaded to our Image Production Management portal available for editing. The images are downloaded, edited to your specific requirements, and uploaded to the portal for internal quality control. These images will be available for your review in as little as 24 hours following photography.

Images go through a two-step quality control process. In the first step, Epicor Studio Services project manager reviews each image. Images that pass are sent to the second QA step – the customer’s review. You review each image using the online portal. If images meet your quality standards they move to the formatting workflow stage. If they do not, they are send back for further editing or re-photographing.

The final stage is formatting and delivering the images to your specifications – file type, dimensions, DPI, color mode, white border, and naming. For example, you may require a:

• Master set – TIF, not resized, named “product number _ image view”
• High-resolution set – TIF, 300 DPI, 2,000 by 2,000 pixels, 15 pixels of white space, named “product number _ image view”
• Web set – JPG, 72 DPI, 1,500 pixels on the longest side, 5 pixels of white space, named “product number _ image view”
