Automation of buying or selling intercompany transactions, invoices and payments between companies is as easy as performing a consolidation.
Multicompany journal entries, allocations, global Chart of Accounts (COA), central payments are all part of the Multi-Site Management license item that is a valuable add-on to your Epicor Financials system.

Multi-Currency Management

You can maintain a complex multi-currency system in a single Epicor Financials environment very easily.
Either only in one company or in a multi-company setup, it is possible to define the currency for a series of documents such as sales and purchase orders, sales and supplier invoices or payments.
The General Ledger (GL) journal entries can have a separate currency which is then converted to the financial book currency at the time of posting, using the daily currency exchange rate. Bank accounts certainly can have foreign currencies, just like the Petty Cash Desks.
The revaluation process is also part of the Multi-Currency Management license item, which allows the recognition of gains and losses at any time when required.

Multiple Books

First and foremost, when doing business in another country with another official currency, it may come in handy to establish multiple books in the local company that allow reporting on the same accounting transactions but from a different perspective.

It collects data from multiple sources, including actual database tables, Electronic Interface (EI) programs or Business Activity Queries (BAQ) that can be chained together into a structure that complies with the required format.
A user-friendly mapping tool helps ensure an efficient work with the solutions.
Epicor Electronic Reports can not only be used for legally required reports, but also for a number of arbitrary solutions such as filing your tax returns, bank payment integrations, sending your financial statements or accounting data to auditor or advisory firms and more.
Customers purchasing a CSF package will be able to load, configure and run the included electronic reports solutions.
Changing and customizing any electronic reports or e-invoicing solutions delivered in a CSF by the Epicor Electronic Reports module or creating new solutions will require purchasing the license for the Epicor Electronic Reports.

Languages

Epicor Financials supports major languages used globally and regionally that are often used as the common language, especially in countries with more than one official language.
Epicor Financials also supports several smaller languages spoken by Epicor customers in key markets.
Each language is a separate license item, and when activated for a user, the user interface uses that language for menu titles, menu items, tabs, field labels, dialog windows, and certain reports and queries generated in the application.
The contents of the CSF packages are also available in the respective languages.

The development of application programs has been following a certain principle to allow the creation of custom, external programs that can work together with the core code, even surviving a major upgrade of Epicor Financials.
This is becoming more important for cloud-deployed systems. The core code contains many hook-ups or points that act as communicators between custom programs. These can push or pull transactional or master data during code execution.
