Affiliated Distributors (A-D)

A-D is an organization dedicated to furthering the interests of the wholesale channel of distribution in each industry we serve. Our Affiliates and Suppliers, in partnership with our Senior Staff, participate regularly in significant industry associations and attend national and regional meetings. As a service to these industries, we provide the following calendar of A-D meetings.

American Supply Association (ASA)

ASA is a not-for-profit national organization serving wholesale distributors and their suppliers in the plumbing, heating, cooling and industrial and mechanical pipe, valves and fittings industries. ASA provides a forum for trading partners from around the country to discuss critical issues facing them, and offers a menu of products and services uniquely geared to their needs. Members of ASA are distributors, manufacturers, master distributors, independent manufacturers' representatives and service vendors who together create a powerful alliance of channel partners. Through corporate membership in ASA, all owners, executives and their employees may benefit from the wide variety of services available.


BLUE HAWK was formed in May 2005 to maximize the strength of independent HVACR distributors throughout the United States. BLUE HAWK members distribute a wide range of HVACR related products to the residential and commercial construction trades. We are a purchasing cooperative of HVACR Distributors. Our core product categories include air conditioning, heating, hydronics, refrigeration, tools, supplies, accessories, and ventilation.

Industry Data Exchange Association (IDEA)

Founded in 1998, IDEA is the official standards creating and setting body for the electrical industry. Our B2B eCommerce, Synchronization, Standards Adoption, and Professional solutions and services optimize your business to run lean, gain efficiency, synchronize data flow, streamline processes and standardize systems.

Distributor Partners of America (DPA)

The DPA Buying Group is dedicated to increasing the sales and profits of its member distributors and preferred suppliers across North America. Over 600 independent distributors and 170 nationally recognized vendors have joined DPA to gain a competitive advantage over their competition. Industries represented include: Janitorial/Sanitary, Safety Equipment & Clothing, Industrial Tools & Fasteners, Packaging Supplies, and Specialty Cleaning & Restoration Products. DPA membership enables profitable business relationships, industry awareness and lifelong friendships.

Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA)

The Ceramic Tile Distributors Association (CTDA) is an international association of distributors, manufacturers and allied professionals of ceramic tile and related products. Our mission is to provide educational and networking opportunities for distributors of ceramic tile and their suppliers to further the consumption of ceramic tile.

Fluid Power Distributors Association (FPDA)

FPDA is the professional network for fluid power, automation and motion technology providers dedicated to significantly enhancing member and channel performance by delivering indispensable networking, education and success strategies.


Independent Medical Co-Op (IMCO)

IMCO is the premier Co-op for medical supply distributors who are a driving force in the physician, hospital, nursing home, home health, EMS, industrial and many other markets.

National Distribution and Contracting, Inc.

NDC represents over 280 distributors, the largest organization of independent medical, surgical, dental and laboratory supply distributors in the United States. NDC provides a unique collection of business services including master distribution and logistics on behalf of distributors and manufacturers serving healthcare providers throughout the United States, Canada, Caribbean and parts of Central America. Our comprehensive programs allow member distributors, both large and small, the opportunity to maximize their efficiency while realizing profitable growth. NDC's core distribution is across the healthcare continuum, including primary care, acute care, extended care, veterinary, dental and specialty markets. Products distributed into these markets consist of national brands and NDC private label brands: Pro Advantage and Quala.

NetPlus Alliance

Founded in 2002, NetPlus maximizes the relationship between distributors and suppliers. We support distribution of all sizes through pricing, rebate and incentive programs from our supplier partners. NetPlus Alliance has over 410 industrial and contractor supplies distributors doing over $9 Billion in sales annually.

Network Services Company

Network Services Company is an international organization that provides distribution services to global accounts in the healthcare, commercial real estate, and industrial markets. The Network solution includes janitorial, food service and industrial packaging products and services that contribute to increased wellness and productivity while reducing costs and improving service. Network customized services provide centralized spend management control, while meeting unique local market needs for companies with multiple locations throughout North America and Europe.


Omni Corporate Services Ltd., Inc. is the premier buying group in the plumbing and heating industry. The group consists of 240+ plumbing wholesaler distributors across the United States and more than 120 of the best-known manufacturers of plumbing products. For over 30 years, Omni has provided its Member wholesalers with the resources to succeed in the ever-changing business world through innovative marketing and promotional programs. Through our purchasing power, we have been able to provide a competitive balance for the independent plumbing distributor.

Safety Marketing Group

The Safety Marketing Group (SMG) is a network of the dominant industrial safety equipment distributors in North America. Its member companies are unified to furnish the dedicated customer service and flexibility provided best by independent entrepreneurs, owned and operating on a local level. The SMG is a corporation -- organized as an industry cooperative -- which is focused on group purchasing and group marketing of quality safety equipment products.

The United Group (TUG)

THE UNITED GROUP, established in 1983, is a nationwide buying group owned and directed by independent distributors who target the janitorial/sanitary, foodservice, industrial-packaging and safety equipment & supplies markets. Representing over 350 locations, the Member Stockholders purchase from more than 150 vendors they have designated as Preferred Suppliers, and they receive marketing allowances on their purchases. By coordinating these business transactions, THE UNITED GROUP opens doors to enhanced profitability for both the Member Stockholders and the Preferred Suppliers.

Virtual Rain

Virtualrain, inc. manufactures and sources niche products for the irrigation industry, marketing them through an exclusive network of distributors. Founded in 1998, Virtualrain’s vision is to impact the irrigation industry with innovative technology and a business structure that reduces product cost with a focus on increasing shareholder value and providing superior customer service. Virtualrain’s products are practical for both the residential and commercial segments of the irrigation industry and new products are being added to the line regularly.

IMARK Electrical

IMARK Electrical is made up of over 800 independently owned electrical distributors (operating 3,000+ locations) throughout the United States and Canada. Our mission is to enhance the profitability of our member distributors while helping to generate above average rates of growth for our supplier partners.

IWDC - Independent Welding Distribution Cooperative

IWDC Member companies serve a wide range of industries. The common denominator is that these industries look to us for industrial, specialty, and medical gases as well as related equipment, hard goods, and consumables.

GAWDA - Gas and Welding Distributors Association

GAWDA serves over 550 gases and welding supply distributors, manufacturers, independent manufacturer’s representatives and individual members, and is the major trade association representing the industrial gases and welding supply industry.

Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA)

The Health Industry Distributors Association (HIDA) is the trade association representing medical products distributors. Since 1902, HIDA has provided leadership in the healthcare distribution industry. Membership in HIDA provides a wide range of resources and relationships that help companies perform profitably within today’s complex healthcare supply chain. HIDA members have the benefit of breaking legislative information, the latest industry research, access to unsurpassed networking opportunities, and a connection to education programs designed for employee retention, performance, and profitability.

Heating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI)

HARDI was formulated by the consolidation of two long time wholesale trade organizations – North American Heating, Refrigeration & Airconditioning Wholesalers (NHRAW) and Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Wholesalers International (ARWI). The new organization represents over 450 wholesale companies, including 17 international companies, plus over 300 manufacturing associates and nearly 140 manufacturer representatives. It is estimated that HARDI members represent 80 percent of the dollar value of the HVACR products sold through distribution.

Industrial Supply Association (ISA)

The primary focus of the Industrial Supply Association is to improve the industrial supply channel through its mission-critical activities, including: conventions and forums for member interaction and education; gathering and dissemination of critical information, including industry data, research, trend analysis and operating metrics; and development and implementation of channel performance initiatives, including e-commerce, standards, industry advocacy and education. ISA is committed to bringing channel partners together and fostering an environment that allows for a free flow of communication to better understand the needs of both the manufacturer and distributor.

Association for High Technology Distribution (AHTD)

AHTD is your source for automation solutions. For more than 25 years, the Association for High Technology Distribution has worked to increase the productivity and profitability of the high technology Automation Solutions Providers and Manufacturers who satisfy the automation needs of general industry and OEM manufacturers. Today, through a wide spectrum of association programs and services, designed by and for members, AHTD is the primary resource for all member companies to achieve their ultimate and common goals.

International Sanitary Supply Association (ISSA)

ISSA is determined to remain the leading worldwide association for the cleaning industry by representing all the professions it encompasses and by allying with other trade organizations that share its members’ common goals. In doing so, the association plans to create a common, global cleaning community, where any member of the profession can find valuable information, resources, business opportunities, and support. This continued leadership is based on the basic principles and strategic objectives outlined below. ISSA will be the leading resource for information, education, networking, and commercial opportunities as well as the leading voice in government and the community for firms within the cleaning industry worldwide.

National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED)

Headquartered in St. Louis, Mo., the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) is a 501(c)6 not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving and protecting the electrical distribution channel. NAED is the voice of electrical distribution, providing members with the best in tools, information, and assistance to help them thrive financially and to improve the electrical distribution channel. NAED connects the entire electrical industry, serving as a hub of networking, education, and research. The enhanced knowledge and expertise members gain from NAED translates into better service for their customers. For example, when a member learns how to improve their operational systems, it means faster response, better product availability, smoother invoicing, and other benefits for those who do business with that company. When members save customers time and money, it results in a competitive advantage

National Association of Hose and Accessories Distributors

The Association For Hose and Accessories Distribution - NAHAD, provides its members with the latest information, ideas and insight, year-round, to help run their businesses more successfully every day. Association services help members to meet the dynamic and changing needs of the industry and help to foster a sense of partnership and support between distributors and manufacturers.

National Association of Independent Lighting Distributors (NAILD)

The National Association of Independent Lighting Distributors (NAILD) was founded in 1977 by a small group of lighting distributors. Since then it has grown to well over 180 members. Membership in the association is made up of Specialty Lighting Distributors and Vendor/Manufacturers of lighting goods & supplies used in the operation of specialized lighting distributors. Some of the main objectives of NAILD are to increase the effectiveness and profitability of the specialized lighting distributor through educational programs; to make available to members information pertaining to the distribution of lighting products; to develop marketing plans and programs through an exchange of ideas & to improve membership awareness of supplier marketing programs; and promote the need for and the benefit of good lighting.

National Association of Wholesale Distributors (NAW)

A principal value of NAW membership is the opportunity for networking and benchmarking within the entire wholesale distribution industry. Since NAW members represent all lines of trade, NAW is uniquely positioned to create programs and opportunities for executives to learn from peers with whom they do not compete.

National Fasteners Distributor Association (NFDA)

NFPA membership is diverse, representing the full spectrum of our industry: hydraulic and pneumatic; large and small; supplier, distributor, educator, customer and manufacturer. NFPA is committed to advancing fluid power technology, strengthening the industry and fostering member's success through a menu of services that is broad enough to meet wide-ranging interests, yet focused enough to offer individualized assistance.

Petroleum Equipment Institute (PEI)

The Petroleum Equipment Institute is a trade association whose members manufacture, distribute, and service petroleum marketing and liquid-handling equipment. Founded in 1951, PEI represents more than 1,600 member companies located in all 50 states and more than 80 countries. Members include manufacturers, sellers, and installers of equipment used in service stations, terminals, bulk plants, fuel, oil and gasoline delivery, and similar petroleum marketing operations.

Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA)

The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) is the leading association for the industrial power transmission/motion control (PT/MC) distribution channel. PTDA is dedicated to helping members meet marketplace demands competitively and profitably by providing exceptional networking, targeted education, relevant information, and leading-edge business tools.

Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association (STAFDA)

The Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association (STAFDA) is a not-for-profit educational trade association comprised of distributors, manufacturers, and rep agents of light construction, industrial, and related products. STAFDA membership also includes publishers of industry trade press (affiliates). STAFDA has nearly 2,500 members from the U.S., Canada, and overseas.

WIT and Co.

WIT & Co. is a pioneer in the plumbing, heating and cooling industry. Established in 1974, it is the oldest member-owned and most cohesive group in the industry. Members are independent wholesale distributors committed to growth - and to each other. With more than $2.5 billion in sales, they are united in action and vision, allowing them to capitalize on competitive opportunities.

IMARK Plumbing

With over 652 member companies operating 1,303 locations nationwide, IMARK Plumbing is the premier marketing group in the plumbing industry. The member distributors of IMARK Plumbing work closely with 120 of the leading and market preferred manufacturers of plumbing products.
