    Dr. Jörg Pirron

    Dr. Jörg Pirron is the Managing Director and Partner of PROTEMA - providing advisory and consulting services in Stuttgart, a German based consulting and engineering company that has a strong focus on medium sized companies. He also serves as an Executive Board Member of RheinBrücke IT Consulting. After studying Electrical Engineering, he received a Doctor’s degree from the University of Stuttgart for his work in the area of supply chain management and enterprise application integration. Prior to PROTEMA, he worked several years at various leadership roles for Fraunhofer, Europe’s largest application-oriented research organization.

    In addition, Dr. Jörg Pirron was member of the Board of Directors of the Supply Chain Council from 2006 to 2008. Since September 2013, he is part of the managing board of German Intralogistics Cluster, for which he was one of the founders in 2006. Currently, he works on the development and application of Industry 4.0 strategies and concepts for the implementation of smart factory solutions, agile supply networks and innovative after sales services and extensively advices companies such as Bosch, Daimler Magna, AIRBUS, DELPHI, MAN, Siemens, Bombardier, Brose, Faurecia, Ensinger, KUKA Robotics, DIEHL Aerospace, ALPLA and many others both on smart factory concepts as well as supply chain related topics.
