What’s New in Epicor IP&O 25.2: Smarter Inventory Planning, Greater Resilience >
The 25.2 release of Epicor IP&O is here, bringing a variety of enhancements that make inventory and demand planning more powerful, connected, and user-friendly. This update is all about helping organizations optimize inventory, streamline workflows, and build greater resilience in the face of supply chain uncertainty.
Highlights from the 25.2 Release
Expanded Integrations for a Unified View
- IP&O now supports Eclipse, with enhanced integrations for Prophet 21 and Kinetic. These improvements make it easier to connect your inventory and demand data across platforms.
Faster, More Reliable Processing
- Parallel processing powered by AWS Lambda delivers up to 10x performance improvements for very large jobs. Even if some items fail, jobs keep running—so your processing jobs finish faster and with greater reliability.
- Every inventory policy update is now logged and accessible in a filterable, exportable report, giving you transparency and confidence in your planning process.
Usability Upgrades for Everyday Efficiency
- Saving inventory optimization results to your ERP is now more intuitive, with fewer steps and clearer workflows. Now, only items in the filtered view will be saved back to the ERP.
- Copying forecast projects now requires only a few mouse-clicks, making it easier to efficiently create new projects of additional items using the same forecast hierarchy, forecast methods, and other configuration settings that were successfully established for other groups.
- Rolling history start dates let you focus on the most relevant data, while stricter controls for intermittent demand forecasting and new configuration guardrails help prevent common errors.
Building Resilience with Smarter Planning
These recent enhancements are just the first step in guaranteeing that you are equipped with the proper tools necessary to create a robust planning strategy. With faster processing speeds, streamlined steps for importing inventory plans into your ERP, and various improvements to the user experience, we are working to ensure that IP&O is a seamless and essential component to mitigating supply chain related risks.
In this and upcoming releases, Epicor IP&O is dedicated to developing advanced inventory forecasting solutions to support your business in navigating challenging market conditions with confidence.
