Dental and medical equipment supplier transitions from legacy IT software to cloud-based ERP system to accelerate delivery of supplies to Sub-Saharan Africa
17 August , 2021 - Epicor Software Corporation, a global provider of industry-specific enterprise software that enables a world of better business, has been selected by Beeveejay, a leading supplier of dental, medical, ophthalmic and optometry equipment to Sub-Saharan Africa, to increase efficiency across the supply chain and enable business growth.
Epicor Prophet 21, a cloud-based ERP solution built with distributors, for distributors, will give Beeveejay real-time access to its entire inventory through a single source of data to optimise stock control and lead times. As well as ensure regulatory compliance with traceability throughout the supply chain, including complete product history and visibility from engineering to delivery.
In addition to providing end-to-end visibility across the whole supply chain, Epicor Prophet 21 will enable Beeveejay to reduce manual, admin-intensive processes and paper-based tasks such as updating multiple Excel spreadsheets, improving data accuracy and reducing human error. This includes its customer relationship management (CRM) capabilities that will now be enhanced with a unified solution for the management of contacts, leads, sales orders, marketing campaigns, after sales services and more.
The move to a cloud-based ERP solution will also give Beeveejay the platform to scale and grow through 2021, following a challenging period through the Covid-19 pandemic, which highlighted the problem of relying on paper-based workflows and disparate IT systems. Through a streamlined, efficient supply chain operation, Beeveejay will be able to offer competitive lead times and attractive pricing to expand its business.
