This Magic Quadrant analysis focused on “composable ERP,” defined by Gartner as, “an adaptive technology strategy that enables the foundational administrative and operational digital capabilities required for an enterprise to keep up with the pace of business change.” According to the report, companies earning the Challenger designation, “understand the evolving needs of ERP product-centric applications and processes as they move to the cloud.”
In assessing a participating organization’s “Ability to Execute,” Gartner evaluated, “the products, technologies, services and operations that enable them to be competitive, efficient and effective in the market, and that positively impact their revenue, client satisfaction, client retention and general market reputation.”
With research for the report showing that nearly 80% of the companies surveyed plan to replace or upgrade their current ERP packaged applications (and most of those in the next 12 months), the opportunity for helping the world’s most essential businesses learn more about the value of ERP solutions is significant.
“We view our Challenger positioning as strong reinforcement of our ability to execute and deliver people-centric, open, and connected solutions that help our customers succeed in today’s complex market,” said Vaibhav Vohra, CPO of Epicor.
