Epicor, a global leader of industry-specific enterprise software to promote business growth, today announced that it has received its Australian National Aged Care Classification or AN-ACC Notice of Integration (NOI) certificate from the Australian Government.
Services Australia’s AN-ACC funding model will commence from 1 October 2022, and Epicor has successfully undertaken the development of the new Provider Digital Access (PRODA) APIs to support its customers’ transition to AN-ACC.
Epicor is one of the first organisations to be certified AN-ACC compliant, and the NOI certificate means that the Epicor Senior Living software solution can now be integrated with Services Australia’s PRODA platform. This will allow Epicor users to efficiently file their claims online, while remaining AN-ACC compliant.
Epicor ANZ Regional Vice President, Greg O’Loan, said: “Services Australia’s move to web services-ready software is one of the most dramatic technological changes that the aged care sector has seen in decades, and we are excited to be part of this shift.”
“Some 50 per cent of mid-to-large-sized residential aged care providers rely on Epicor Senior Living software to effectively run their businesses, and we take our responsibilities to our customers and to the aged care sector very seriously. Every minute that our customers can save on back-office processing, is time that can be spent on frontline care. Epicor prioritises compliance, and we are proud to be helping our customers stay up to date with Services Australia’s requirements.”
The Australian Federal Government’s AN-ACC funding model was intended to provide more equitable aged care funding that better matches residents' needs. It combines the existing basic subsidy, the amounts currently provided through the Basic Daily Fee supplement, the homeless and viability supplements, and additional funding for care minutes into one aged care funding amount.
The AN-ACC certification Epicor has received means that aged care providers that use the company’s Senior Living software solution will now have access to a full AN-ACC solution workflow including importing of shadow assessments, care minutes, new funding formulas, reconciliation to the new payment statement and the ability to lodge digital claims. For Epicor customers, this will dramatically reduce back office processing time, allowing them to focus on their primary duty of caring for their residents.
Epicor Senior Living software solution was designed to help aged care facilities provide outstanding care by streamlining processes, personalising care, and controlling costs. The market leading software solution allows aged care providers to integrate their billing and funding needs and enables them to save time and money with digital processing. It also provides clients with detailed analytics and reporting, allowing them to make better decisions based on data. Most importantly, Epicor Senior Living software solution allows aged care providers to focus on individual client needs, giving them the tailored information they need to deliver the right care and services to the right individuals.
