A Recap of Day 1 at Insights 2017


Yesterday marked the beginning of the largest Epicor global customer conference in our history— and the first day was a success.  Insights Live Studio

On Monday, Insights 2017 welcomed nearly 4,000 attendees across 32 countries. The first day Insights presented "Get Informed, Get Involved, Get Insights" orientations for different topics such as manufacturing and supply chain, and user education on upgrade sessions. Epicor Prophet 21 team kick started the conference with introducing team members and showcasing sessions in the upcoming days. Simultaneously, Insights Live Studio also started recording customer video testimonials and interviewed Epicor executives about the exciting future holds for Epicor users.

On the other hand, the Epicor Corporate Communications team hosted a reception with Executives for media, analyst, and influencers attending Insights 2017. Lucas Borrazas, a journalist Prensario IT in Argentina said, "I think this event is very interesting because you can have the vision from different Epicor users and executives in which all of this in the same place."

Ray Wang from Constellation mentioned, "The theme is about growth, it's one of my favorite themes. We're looking jump-starting growth ... it really starts with a business model and so what I'm trying to understand is what 4,000 customers here are joined to transform their business models, get to the cloud and figure out what's next."

At 6:00 pm, attendees rushed to Solutions Pavilion as the final meet up for the night. Partners, manufacturing and distribution exhibitors met with all Epicor Users. Attendees had a chance to network with fellow professionals, took a selfie at the step and repeat. It was a full house.

This is only the first day and we can see that attendees are already feeling inspired. We'll be talking a lot more so stay tuned about Day 2.
