Epicor Scheduling+ integrates with real-time Eagle software point of sale (POS) data to provide guidance for more accurate staff forecasting. “A key feature of Epicor Scheduling+ is the hot floor/cold floor analysis, which tells us if staffing is heavy or light throughout the day so that we can optimize our staffing accordingly. With the visible information on year-over-year sales, transaction data and forecasts, we can staff more effectively and lower our labor costs,” said Gunning.
Quick schedule access with cloud-based technology
“Communicating with employees is simple, timely, and efficient. As soon as a new schedule is finalized, it’s e-mailed to our employees who can then log in to their own personal online portal in Epicor Scheduling+. Because of cloud-based technology, they can see their detailed schedule, request days off, and make other inquiries from their smartphones, tablets, or computers,” said Gunning. “Managers log in to the Epicor Scheduling+ dashboard, and with just some simple clicks can check on employee requests, make schedule adjustments, publish the final schedule, send it to employees, and print it for the bulletin board. It’s so much easier than what we had before.”
