Brand is a name, sign, symbol, slogan or anything that is used to identify and distinguish a specific product, service, or business. That is the definition of ‘brand’ according to Wikipedia.

Most of the top brands will tell you that brand is more than just a slogan, product or service.  The infamous quote by Ian Rowden, Chief Marketing Officer of Virgin Group says it all, “The best brands are built on great stories.” 

The Epicor brand has evolved over its 40-year history delighting in the many stories of success we share with thousands of manufacturers, distributors, retailers and service organizations that have relied on innovative Epicor solutions and industry expertise to stay ahead of the competition.

Wait a minute, Epicor is a software company. Yes, we sell software like many other companies. The difference is we recognize that software isn’t the outcome our customers are looking for when they invest in Epicor -- the software and services are simply tools used to help profitably grow their business. 

Gartner recently conducted a CEO and senior business executive survey of 400 senior business leaders in user organizations worldwide, and found that growth remains a top priority and technology-related change is viewed as the primary tool to achieve growth in 2015 and 2016 (“CEO Survey 2015: Committing to Digital,"2015).

We understand that “growth” has different meanings based on customers’ distinct business goals -- increase revenue and market-share, expand product lines, improve service offerings, extend channels-to-market, increase efficiency, add locations, and the list goes on. 

Growth also brings new challenges -- whether our customers choose to deploy our solutions in the cloud, hosted or on premises, they will have to manage increasing complexity, minimize growing pains, and maximize the opportunity for success.
