Cultivating a 'Customer-first' Culture: Charting our Course in the Americas

We’ve made some big announcements this week that at the heart are all about transforming the customer experience with Epicor. I’m excited about the opportunities ahead for Epicor and the added value we will create for the many Epicor customers across the Americas that have come to rely on our business solutions and services to thrive and grow.

We are on this journey together, and as a company we are committed to delivering the highest quality products, services and support to small and midmarket businesses where we have decades of industry expertise and truly understand the challenges and opportunities these organizations face.

  • Independent retailers throughout North America like Ace Hardware, Do it Best, True Value and Orgill are leveraging Epicor Eagle business management solutions to consistently outservice their big box competitors.
  • Leading automotive parts chains such as Auto Electric Service, Automotive Parts Headquarters, and Distributors Warehouse Inc. rely on Epicor automotive aftermarket software to run their businesses.
  • Built on over 30 years of industry expertise, Epicor lumber and building materials software helps companies like Handy Andy Family of Companies, Dryco Building Supplies, and North American Lumber manage every aspect of the business with solutions like Epicor Eagle, BisTrack and LumberTrack.
  • Epicor Prophet 21 and Eclipse distribution software solutions provide wholesale distributors Guillen’s Enterprises, Inc., Johnstone Supply of Tacoma, and Rexel Inc. with a full range of order management, supply chain and warehouse capabilities based on four decades of industry experience.
  • Manufacturers like Chirch Global Manufacturing, Enpress LLC, and Plano Molding in a variety of discrete and process industries turn to Epicor for our next-generation enterprise resource planning, manufacturing execution and materials planning software solutions to compete in today’s agile manufacturing environments.

As with any new journey, change plays a significant role. We also announced this week that our Epicor colleagues serving leading specialty chain retailers -- from Aeropostale, Boot Barn, and Carters to Michael Kors, Plow & Hearth, and Urban Outfitters -- will be embarking on an exciting new journey of their own with the announcement of the spinoff of the Epicor Retail solutions business.

Epicor CEO Joe Cowan has set the course, “We believe this move will enable both businesses to become more focused, better positioned for growth and capitalize on the unique competitive opportunities faced by each.”

An exciting new chapter is ahead, and we are ready to set sail!
