• Trade-In Terms and Conditions

    By submitting an order for our Epicor proprietary software and related hardware, you are agreeing to strictly comply with the following terms:

    1. Epicor Proprietary Software System: If you have acquired and are using an Epicor proprietary system (e.g., Eagle, JCON, Prism, etc.), you must take the hardware and software out of service and return such items to Epicor within 90 days of receipt of the Eagle system. The instructions to decommission and ship are below:

    2. Third Party Software System: If you have acquired and are using a third party software system and related hardware, you must take the hardware and software out of service and return the hardware within 90 days of receipt of the Eagle system

    • DO NOT RETURN THIRD PARTY SOFTWARE TO EPICOR. The third party software must be decommissioned and taken out of service. You may not provide it to any third party for any reason. The instructions to decommission and ship are below:

    3. Miscellaneous:

    • You agree the discounts we offer are based and contingent upon your strict compliance with the terms described herein. If you do not strictly comply, we have the right to bill and you must pay the full retail price for the software, hardware, and services you have ordered with this trade-in offering.
    • These terms are hereby incorporated into and made a part of the customer agreement (often called a Master Customer Agreement) between you and Epicor.

    Return Instructions

    • You will receive an RMA along with an addressed prepaid shipping label from Epicor via email to be used to return the trade-in equipment.
    • You will use the carton the Eagle server was shipped in to return trade-in server hardware to Epicor.

    Epicor legacy system being returned:

    • In the case where you are returning an Epicor Proprietary system (i.e. JCON, Eclipse or Prism) simply place the old server in the Eagle Server shipping carton and seal up.
    • Attach the addressed prepaid shipping label and call shipper at 800 463-3339 for pickup.

    Third party (non-Epicor legacy system) being returned:

      Remove 3rd party software steps:

      • One of two methods to prepare the server prior to shipping back to Epicor Software
        • Remove the hard drive from the server and safely dispose of as required by local ordinances
        • Format the hard drive so no 3rd party software is installed on the trade-in server.
      • Place the trade-in server in the Eagle Server shipping carton and seal up.
      • Attach preaddressed prepaid shipping label and call shipper at 800 463-3339 for pickup.

    Please note if the trade-in equipment is not returned to Epicor within 90 days of receipt of the new Eagle system that discounts and rebates associated with the trade-in program will be forfeit and separate invoice will be issued.
