WHAT IS EPICOR RETAIL PERSPECTIVES?
Retail Perspectives is the official global user conference for Epicor’s Retail clients. It brings together Epicor’s clients, partners, and industry experts for a three-day learning and networking experience focused on Epicor products, solutions, and future plans. With varied sessions and extensive hands-on labs, the conference offers the opportunity to learn, connect with peers, and understand your industry best practices.
WHEN AND WHERE IS RETAIL PERSPECTIVES HELD?
Retail Perspectives 2009, our 2nd retail client conference, will be held October 4-7, 2009 at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth in Montreal, Canada.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND RETAIL PERSPECTIVES?
Users of Epicor products who want to extend functionality and protect their investment in Epicor’s Retail Solutions. The conference has something for everyone from IT focused professionals to business executives.
ARE YOU ACCEPTING SPEAKER APPLICATIONS?
Information and best practices shared by users is extremely valuable content that we look to maximize every year. There’s also a significant discount if your abstract is selected. Please explore our speaker portal for more information.
ARE THERE ANY SPONSORSHIPS OR EXHIBIT SPACES AVAILABLE?
Yes, sponsors are included in Perspectives every year. Sponsorship opportunities are available to all Epicor Alliance Partners. To get more information on becoming a sponsor of the event, please email alliances@epicor.com.
HOW DO I REGISTER?
You can register directly from this site. You can select to pay by company check or credit card.
IS THERE WIRELESS ACCESS?
We will have a wireless hotspot available near the online communication center.
IS THERE A SMOKING AREA?
The Fairmont Queen Elizabeth hotel’s conference area is a smoke-free facility. There are designated outdoor smoking areas.
CAN I BRING A GUEST/SPOUSE TO RETAIL PERSPECTIVES?
A guest pass is available for $250. The guest pass includes entrance to all evening meal functions, including the closing dinner/party on Tuesday night. Guests are not permitted to attend the conference sessions or labs. You can register your guest when you register for Retail Perspectives or on-site at the conference.
CAN I TRANSFER MY REGISTRATION TO SOMEONE ELSE IN MY COMPANY IN THE EVENT I CANNOT ATTEND?
Yes. Substitutions can be made. Please email your request to retailevents@epicor.com with the names of the original and the substitute registrant and/or guest. Substitutions may be made at any time before the Conference starts.
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
Conference fees are fully refundable until September 11. After this date, the full conference amount is non-refundable. All cancellations must be made in writing and addressed to "Epicor Retail Perspectives 2009 - CANCELLATION", and faxed to 514-426-0824 or sent by email to retailevents@epicor.com.
HOW DO I GET A COPY OF MY REGISTRATION INVOICE?
A link to your invoice will be sent to you in your registration confirmation email. Please click on that link to print out the invoice to send in with your company check for payment. If you need an additional copy, you can access your invoice through your registration record or email retailevents@epicor.com.
HOW CAN I PAY?
Acceptable methods of payments are check or credit card. We accept American Express, Visa, and MasterCard.
ARE MEALS PROVIDED DURING THE CONFERENCE?
Full conference attendees with badges will have access to the following meals:
Sunday, October 4 — Opening welcome reception with hors d’oeuvres
Monday, October 5 — Breakfast, lunch, refreshment breaks, and evening restaurant dine-around.
Tuesday, October 6 — Breakfast, lunch, refreshment breaks, and sit-down dinner/party
Wednesday, October 7 — Breakfast
Paid guests, with badges, have access to the following meals:
Sunday, October 4 — Opening welcome reception with hors d’oeuvres
Monday, October 5 —Evening restaurant dine-around.
Tuesday, October 6 —Sit-down dinner and party
WHAT IS THE ATTIRE FOR THE CONFERENCE?
The attire for Retail Perspectives is business casual, such as comfortable shirts, slacks, or skirts. But, for our celebration evening on the Tuesday night, please bring your party clothes and dancing shoes!
HOW IS THE WEATHER IN MONTREAL IN EARLY OCTOBER?
October in Montreal is similar to New York City, but a bit chillier. You'll want to bring a warm jacket for the evenings. Average daytime temp is in the low 60s°F, average evening temp is in the mid 40s°F.
HOW DO I BOOK MY HOTEL AT THE EPICOR RATE?
The Epicor group rate is CDN $199/night. The hotel must receive your reservation request no later than September 8, 2009. Reservations received after that date will be on a space-available basis only. Please note that the room block may sell out before September 8, so make your reservation early.
